I had a difficult time deciding between the MacBook and PowerBook 15 '. The end I opted for a smaller MacBook. I often travel abroad. I like to keep my hand luggage as low as possible, every pound counts for me. Lack of Firewire I still on the fence for a while '. Another factor was the screen. I read many reviews where people who are not satisfied with the screen. If possible, visit the Apple store MacBook and friends try to decide for themselves. For my purposes, particularly the Internet, word processing and spreadsheets, processor MacBook is more than capable. I discovered that DVD rips and burns about 3 times faster than we Deskptop (Mac G5 Dual 2.3 GHz).

This is my first Mac, but probably my fourth or fifth laptop. The construction quality of these aluminum MacBook is fantastic. Very little flex / bend around the body and not a squeak or groan, after about a month of use. Small details of the laptop, such as ambient light sensor that automatically adjusts screen brightness and backlight keyboard, is what is to use a joy. Once you get used to the trackpad on this computer, I find it annoying for other purposes. Apart from the fact that over-() a plus in my book, the diversity of multi-touch input are comfortable and intuitive to navigate. Battery life exceeded my expectations. The computer can really take a whole day with one battery charge. The screen is fantastic. The blacks are black and white are white. It is a TN panel, what I read, but it is one of the best TN panel I've had the pleasure to use.

I'm not a geek, but have been using computers since 1988 and now we have something to read and write.

The information on the case looks good. I just saw that it was an S-video output and a FireWire port. N. S-video, and finally finds the FireWire port, I think, right-click my collection of old, until I found a cable of the correct size for your computer and external input FireWire Hard Drive. There seems to be the fastest even though the USB port.
