I bought my Acer about 3 weeks ago and am very pleased with its quality and performance. The keys on the keyboard is a plus for me in my use and the screen size is perfect. Fits well in my case (it was built for the 16 "machines) and is not too heavy to carry in my travels.

After five months, my G60-230us LCD has gone bad. The horizontal and vertical lines on the screen. When I returned to HP for my assurance that said that the damage was my fault and it would cost me $ 435.00 dollars to fix. Looking at the web I found several messages that this is the usual answer that you want the warranty. If you buy an HP printer Just remember the warranty is worthless. If you notice when you open the laptop LCD screen is very fragile. This seems a terrible engineering design. Perhaps this is what led to the LCD screen to go wrong. It seems that the screen could be easily damaged during normal use, what has happened to me, obviously. The reason why HP computers are cheaper than other brands because it is obvious that do not support this warrranty or pay dearly for engineering.

I just got this laptop a few days ago. Wow, the monitor is huge! Laptop itself is beautiful and shiny! I am not a computer expert, I just want everything to run smoothly and perform quickly.

I was frustrated with the wireless to go away and every few minutes. Eventually I realized that even if the product details say that running with 802.11 a / b / g / n, notebook itself and the information says it is running with / g / n, N B. I may be wrong, but I have a new G router (compatible with your older kids 'laptops'), and WOW, this laptop is FAST!

The "Acer Aspire Timeline" is a complete disappointment. I gave two weeks after the 30th time I had crashed. freezing up, locking up, and try to restart and just outside. loaded with bloatware and crap that had to be removed and still appear in the problem. I'm not going to call tech support and hours trying to solve their product. Acer - the system must operate out of the box and not only at all levels.
I came charging into the box and on the way to the post office on his return to Acer - Do not buy this product.

I spent tooooo long way research and reading and reflection on what laptop to buy and then bought the Toshiba. I'm sure other choice would have worked for me, but I'm very happy with the Toshiba.

It seems that, while not a big factor is a premium of Nice. And 'fast. I used a number of Vista running PC to another and they were quite slow, so I think that 4 GB of memory is a great help. This notebook includes DVD control buttons in the window above the keyboard and, while I would not have purchased because of this feature turns out to be really easy to use and useful!
